GhostTab is a Chrome extension designed to help users stay focused by limiting browser tabs, providing visual themes, and supporting a Pomodoro-style timer with session tracking. We value your privacy and strive to keep your information secure and minimal.

GhostTab does not collect any personally identifiable information (PII), browsing history, or sensitive data.

Local Storage

We use Chrome's local storage API to save your preferences such as:

• Theme selection
• Focus mode status
• Pomodoro progress and timer state
• Enforcement toggle for tab limits

This data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to external servers.

Permissions

GhostTab requests minimal permissions solely to support its core features:

• tabs: to count and enforce open tab limits
• storage: to save your settings locally
• notifications: to send Pomodoro start/end alerts
• activeTab: to manage focus mode contextually

No Third-Party Access

GhostTab does not share, sell, or transmit your data to any third party for any reason.
